MON 5/18/09 - Cold front conditions with big BLOW for the next 3 days looks like thurs it gets better.  We are looking for a crowd to go in and fish the Memorial Day Blue Marlin Tourney sat / sun fishin days and are also wide open for charters on the holiday weekend..
 
SUN 5/24/09 - Still blowin south east....Sounds like the Swansboro tourney had 4 blue ones brought to the scales.  Sea Striker takes the win with a 645, Real love 2nd, and Chain Link 3rd. We were meat fishin today and the big gaffers are still thick.... wahoo bite seemed to be pretty good as well just didnt have alot of luck keeping them hooked up, only were able to bring one home!?!  Did have a big black fin and 20 mahis.  We have a trip wednesday, then it sounds like it might blow up by the weekend.  Hope this south easter stops soon...
 
WED 5/27/09 - Man what a day on the ocean... Gaffer bite is still strong as it gets.  Found a sullfar slick today and pulled out a heck of a catch.  18 Gaffer mahis, 4 wahoos, 2 tuna one of witch was a big yellow fin... Even had a sail pile in there on a flat line just couldnt get the hook (10o in a hawian eye)!  Sun lookin good, come on down and lets go..
 
SAT 5/30/09 - More of the same ended the day with 23 gaffer, 2 wahoos, 1 tuna..Lanes Choice was in the lead after day 1 in the Bald Head Tourney, hope they can stay there. Looks like rest of the week is beautiful and plenty of rigging to get done for the Big Rock next week, Pole Position departs fri.  We will post w
hat we see during the week and boy i hope shes a GOOD ONE!!!!
 
Big Rock week nothing really to report for us, we did see a nice fish jump next to the boat on the first day and ended up with the 2nd place mahi but other than that it was SLOW... Congrats to Sea Creature on the win its always good to see a charter boat get it done!!!
 
FRI 6/19/09 - Charter fished today up to the 200 line with a fun party.. The day went good 19 mahis and had a double header sail bite pulled one off and wiffed the other oh well it was pretty..
 
WED 6/24/09 -  Mackeral and sailfished today not much to it fished out 32 miles on the 185 line. Short day and only able to catch 3 macks and 4 mahis no sails.
 
FRI 6/26.09 - Fishing the cape fear blue marlin tourney.. Fished up to Beaufort  put em out on the 450 line fished to the 550 line and saw nothing...tommorrow is a new day..
 
SAT 6/27/09 - A little sporty this a.m. started catching gaffers and with 25 mins left in the day there he was short rigger bite on the 250 line.... 20 min fight with Adam Brown in the chair and one pretty blue marlin!!!  Looks like we will end up third.. Maggie boat takes the win with 3 whites and a sail...

SAT 7/11/09 - Had a fun party today.. Started out inshore but had dirty water 30 miles off the beach so we headed to the break... put em out in the 140s and started catching fish.  The 10 gaffers were all good size and even had a good size wahoo.
 
TUES 7/14/09 - Went all the way again today graced with bad luck we missed the first 6 bites before we caught our first gaffer, then the day stayed just like that pulled off a sail while he was jumpin, lost a  huge wahoo while backin down on him ect.. ect.. end up with 4 gaffer 2 wahoos and a king mack.. oh well..

FRI 7/17/09 - Eddie Hannomen Saifish tourney this weekend.  had a good catch of gaffer mahis today saw 1 sail.
 
SAT 7/18.09 - 2nd day fishing with a charter  today... missed one sail saw another and ended up with a hand full of kingfish. Robby on the Whipsaw took the win with  3 sails
 
7/21/09 - 7/27/09 - Inshore mackeral trips with good catchs.
 
FRI 7/31/09 - Ducks Unlimited  Billfish Touney this weekend in Morehead City...Day one today we were 3 for 7 on sailfish but atleast we are still in the hunt..
 
SAT 8/1/09 - 2nd day didnt go as well. We only saw 1 sail and 1 white marlin. pulled plugs today in bad weather and could not pull it off... Alocal boat did though congrats to the Stream Weaver!!!
 
8/4/09 - 8/11/09 - Inshore mackeral trips and some booz cruzs to boot...
 
FRI 8/14/09 - Wahoo fishin was good today.  We fished out to the 131 line in 40 fathoms and pulled out 6 wahoos. 3 gaffer mahis, and 1 big kingfish. The charter left plenty happy...
 
SAT 8/15/09 - Had a fun party today and a good catch... fished to th 170 line and caught 4 wahoos, 3 mahis, 1 tuna, and a sailfish. fishin is good for  aug. Buckwild boat was top boat with 9 wahoos and 4 gaffers.
 
SUN 8/16/09 - Fished down to the 110 line today Gene Long and Drew were down there puttin a hurtin on the mahis and wahoos. We didnt hurt em as bad but still ended up with 7 wahoos, 4 mahis, and pulled off a couple of sails.
 
MON 8/17/09 - Blue hot gulf stream water moved in and fish moved out !!!  Fished from the 110 line to the 200 line finally found 82 degree water late to the northern and caught a couple a mahi and a bonito.  We did see alot of sails free jumpin and pulled one off on a wire rig but it was a tough day!!!!
 
SEPT-NOV 2009 - SORRY WE MISSED WAHOO SEASON - WE WERE TOO BUSY CATCHING FISH TO UPDATE THE WEBSITE - WE PROMISE TO DO A BETTER JOB!!!
 
FRI 12/04/09 - Getting the Pole Position ready to go to Morehead City for some Bluefin Tuna fishing - word on the dock is that they are starting to snap - call us for charter availability.
 
WED 12/09/09 - Tried to make it to Morehead today but weather shut us down - we'll make the trip tomorrow...
 
FRI 12/11/09 - Made it to Morehead yesterday and thank God we did - fished today, released a "small" Bluefin and killed a 96 inch Bluefin tuna - pretty good bite out there - we'll be up here as long as the fish are around - call us for available dates.
 
SAT 12/12/09 - Fished today - pulled the hook on a Bluefin right before he spooled a 130! - These fish are like a freakin' freight train...
 
MON 12/14/09 - Fished with our buddy Tank today - he caught his first Bluefin - an 86 incher - beautiful day on the ocean and a pretty good bite.
 
TUE 12/15/09 - No tuna today, but caught 2 citation size Red Drum and a nice Black Grouper while trolling - you never know what you'll run into out there.
 
WED 12/16/09 - wind kept us to the dock today for boat chores - ready to get back out there tomorrow...
 
THUR 12/17/09 - No tunas for the Pole Position today, but still a bite going on - we'll be back out there tomorrow Lord willing - we need winders!  Call us for details...
